10 December, 2018 - During the visit to Bangladesh, PASTIC Team comprising of Dr. Saima Huma Tanveer, Project Director and Mr. M. Usman, SAARC WE Portal Team Lead visited Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BWCCI) in Dhaka City on 10th Dec. 2018. BWCCI is working as the Implementing Agency (IA) for NCBWESC project from Bangladesh Part. Mr. Syed Sultan, Secretary, BWCCI welcomed the PASTIC Team. During the meeting, Mr. Syed Sultan provided brief introduction to BWCCI, its activities, current ventures, and future in-sight projects. Mr. Sultan elucidated the motivation of BWCCI towards the NCBWESC project to achieve the objectives set by PASTIC (the Lead Implementation Agency of the project). He informed on the activities which have already been undertaken by BWCCI related to the project along with the issues being faced by BWCCI during execution.
